Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

I spotted mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!
Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick – definitely a bonus
How much do they run?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
These sneakers typically range from $400–$1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
Is the comfort worth it?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.
